Vince Garcia

 

A native of Monterey, Vince moved to San Francisco to attend the San Francisco Institute for Aesthetics and Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Partnership School. He chose SFIAC because it's ranked among the highest of Paul Mitchell schools, and because it allowed him to work with some of the industry's leading makeup and hair styling instructors.

Vincent began his apprenticeship at the Barber Lounge in January of 2009, and will complete the program and become a full-time BL stylist in May of 2010. While he's apprenticing, you'll be able to spot him around the salon tidying up, indulging clients with relaxing aromatherapeutic scalp massages, and diligently improving his beautiful blow-outs. As part of his apprenticeship, he also brings in models in for cutting, coloring and styling classes with the BL's senior stylists.

Vince loves highlights and foil work, and his greatest joy lies in working in all shades of blonde. He also adores the challenge of intricate styling that involves iron work, braiding or bobby pins. When he's not hard at work at the Barber Lounge, Vince is a connoisseur of pop culture...he enjoys singing, dancing, hunting for thrift store treasures, and cocktail hours.
