Mia Marquis

 

With ten years of experience as a stylist, Mia has a passion for the collaborative artist/client relationship and the gratification that comes from it. Her spark for creativity is derived, in part, from the clients themselves. Believing that hair should reflect a person's uniqueness; lifestyle, personality and image all figure into the equation. Visually astute, many regulars also value Mia for her guidance and thoughtful suggestions.

A graduate and expat of Vidal Sassoon's color department, Mia has since added color director, teacher and hair stylist to her resume. In 2007, she was featured in Allure Magazine's Best-of-the-Best issue for "Hair Color Specialist." Always on the lookout to enhance her cutting and styling skills through advanced education and specialized training, Mia also takes her inspiration from area museums, a variety of old-school music, art-house flicks and the fertile streets of San Francisco. When not behind the chair, our gal can generally be found scouring neighborhood thrift stores for vintage dresses, sampling lesser-known local restaurants, searching for un-metered parking for her Vespa, or watching baseball games with her two kitties, Tiny and Moo.
