Elia Inglis
In college, Elia Inglis studied developmental psychology. At the start of her career, she worked with developmentally disabled adults. When she started feeling burned out, she decided to try her hand at doing hair on a whim, thinking it would be just a fun, temporary distraction. After finishing hair school, however, she realized that not only was she naturally skilled at doing hair - she also absolutely loved it. Seven years later, Elia is a happy, talented, and accomplished stylist.
After completing extensive training at Paul Mitchell Academy in Los Angeles, Elia went on to receive world-class training in Manhattan before returning home to become a master colorist and stylist in San Francisco. Thanks to her classic Vidal Sassoon training, her work has been published in Beautiful Decay magazine and has appeared on the runway for LA Fashion Week. She specializes in natural color work, and men also adore her meticulous clipper-less haircuts.
When she's not practicing her craft, Elia enjoys going to the movies and to museums, seeing live plays, reading, and watching entire tv series marathon-style. She is a vegetarian foodie and lover of fancy cocktails. She also enjoys traveling, making people laugh, buying shoes she can't actually afford, and all things 1960s.
